Advertising & Marketing Policy
Rules for Google Ads, Meta, and other advertising on or linking to DoctorBookly — healthcare compliance and prohibited claims.
Purpose
This policy supports approval on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and similar platforms. DoctorBookly is a healthcare connection platform (YMYL). All advertising must be truthful, compliant with local healthcare advertising laws, and aligned with our Medical Disclaimer.
Platform role in ads
Ads may promote DoctorBookly directories, provider listings, legitimate health offers, jobs, or educational tools. Ads must not imply DoctorBookly is a hospital, insurer, or government health authority unless explicitly authorized.
Prohibited ad content
- Unsubstantiated cure claims, miracle treatments, or guaranteed outcomes
- Before/after imagery that violates platform or medical ethics rules
- Promotion of prescription drugs without required approvals and landing-page compliance
- Misleading urgency for non-emergency services
- Discrimination or targeting based on sensitive health attributes against platform policies
- Unlicensed practice or impersonation of medical professionals
Landing page requirements
- Clear link to Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Medical Disclaimer
- Working contact information (Contact page or visible email)
- Transparent description of the service and any costs where applicable
- Cookie consent for EU/UK visitors before non-essential tracking
- HTTPS secure pages
Remarketing & cookies
Google Ads, GA4, and Meta Pixel tags load only after user consent via our cookie banner (Analytics / Marketing categories). Advertisers using our platform must respect user cookie choices and applicable GDPR, UK GDPR, and ePrivacy rules.
Provider-paid promotion
Sponsored listings or offers must be labeled clearly where required by law or platform policy. We reserve the right to reject or remove non-compliant promotions.
